The most important preparation for a calamity is none other than... prayer.
This week, we cover a word whose true meaning, for me, has been flattened out to mean just one aspect of what it truly means. As we discover ourselves and the world around us, I invite you to return to the true meaning of this word, and to live it out. This week's Word is "philanthropy".
Worrying is focused thinking on a problem, which brings anxious and troubled feelings. Meditation, on the other hand, is focused thinking on something good, something peaceful - one of the highest examples being the Word of God. I invite you to stop worrying and start meditating!
This Holy Week, we are reminded of the ultimate gift of God for us, represented by this word, so that we may enjoy eternal life with Him. This week's Word is "grace".
"Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion! Shout in triumph, O daughter of Jerusalem! Behold, your king is coming to you; He is just and endowed with salvation, humble, and mounted on a donkey, even on a colt, the foal of a donkey." (Zechariah 9:9, NASB)
